RE: Open Range Owners

We purchased an Open Range 385RLS and we think it's great. We went to 4 different RV shows and looked at all the models that the dealers in our state had to offer. None of the other models in our opinion came close to the aesthetics of this model. We have only had our 5er for about 2 months and have taken it on 2 weekend trips and a week long trip about 500 miles from home. It tracked great. We have a 2008 GMC 2500 Diesel, and had a Sidewinder and 5th Airborne hitch installed. The Sidewinder really got us out of some tight spots, and would suggest one to anyone with a short bed truck. Also we would recommend the second air unit, which is already wired at the factory. We had only the one unit when purchased, the temperature got up to about 80 with no shade and the one unit just didn't cool the 385 sf this camper has. We could go on and on about how much we like this camper, the jury is still out on the longevity of this manufacturer, it is a new company, but it was worth the gamble for us.
